His name is Balthier and he appears in the 12th Final Fantasy installment, which was finally released in USA at the end of October 2006.The wait was long and painful but the developers Square-Enix repented good by realizing our darkest fangirl-desires by throwing this hot sky pirate(Hot pirates? Must be fiction!) into the mix. Not only do we have all these new interesting personalities to get to know but also a whole new battle system without random encounters. This game really puts a new flare to a classic story of kingdoms at the verge of war.

If you look at the Official Website, you can also watch a new trailer; a scene with Vaan, Penelo, Balthier and Fran stealing some crystals. I'm always lost without translation with these trailers but it looks fun~
Square enix are releasing a Sky Pirates edition of the Nintendo DS!! Featuring Vaan, Penelo, Balthier and Fran. I can't stop drooling!! Check it out at FFWorld.com, where you will also find the 3D image of Fran and more! The game itself will be released April 26th in Japan.
